Tamang Heritage Trek offers a wonderful blend of Himalayan adventure and warm Himalayan culture. As one of the more cultural treks in the Langtang region of Nepal, it showcases the richness of Tamang heritage through the temples and people that make up this vibrant and colorful land. On this trek, we come into close quarters with the Tamang traditions, lighting up our hearts with many sights, scents and natural wonders. We will make our way through several sacred lakes whose waters are thought to purify the body, over high mountain passes, rugged trails, vindicating panoramas and great magical forests reputed to hold the keys to the mysteries of everlasting youth.
This circular route will begin in SyabruBesi and wheel around the western region of Langtang to end by winding down through the Langtang valley to the outskirts of Kathmandu.
Day 1 :Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft).
Day 2 :Kathmandu valley sightseeing and Trek Preparation (1,300m/4,264ft).
Day 3 :Drive Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1,460m) 145km/ 8 hours drive.
Day 4 :Trek from Syabru Besi to Gatlang (2,238m.) 5 hours trek.
Day 5 :Trek Gatlang - Tatopani (2607m) 6-7 hours trek
Day 6 :Trek from Tatopani to Thuman (2,400m.) via Brimdang /Nagthali (3,165m) 6 hours trek.
Day 7 :Trek from Thuman to Briddim (2,345m.) 6 hours trek.
Day 8 :Trek from Briddim to Lama Hotel (2470m) 6 hours trek.
Day 9 :Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3,430m) 5- 6 hours trek.
Day 10 :Trek from Langtang village to (3,870m.) 3 -4 hours trek.
Day 11 :Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,380m.) 4-5 hours trek.
Day 12 :Trek from to Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi (1,460m.) 3-4 hours trek.
Day 13 :Drive to Kathmandu and we go for a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 14 :Transfer to airport for your onward flight home sweet home.
